Mr. Bykerk has 40 years of professional experience in his industry and 25 years of experience as the president of Country Village Homes, Inc. He is considered an expert in making appraisals and determining the value of homes and on a daily basis is responsible for overseeing retail business operations including sales and hiring and managing employees. Country Village Homes, Inc. is a construction company that provides services in home construction, mobile homes and parks. Prior to joining the company, Mr. Bykerk worked in the housing arena both nationally and internationally to provide homes to communities that were destroyed by natural disasters. He attributes his success to the depth of his personal experiences.

In addition to holding a Master's Degree in Counseling and Social Work from the University of Michigan, Mr. Bykerk completed coursework in Social Studies and Science at Western Michigan University. He is a member of the National Education Association, the Manufactured Housing Institute, and his local Habitat for Humanity, in which he serves as a member of the President's Support Group.
