Outdoor Concepts in St. Louis Wins Three Regional Pool Building/Design Awards
Company takes home three awards of excellence in regional competition that included entries from 10 states


    /Building and Construction News Articles/ - CHESTERFIELD, MO, June 07, 2008 - In a competition that invited entries from pool builders in 10 states, Outdoor Concepts Inc., has received three awards in the 2007 Annual Awards of Excellence competition conducted by the Association of Pool & Spa Professionals, Region 5. Outdoor Concepts won two Bronze and one Silver award in the Residential Concrete Pool Category. The awards are presented for excellence in pool design and construction.

The awards competition is open to Association members in Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wisconsin. Entries are solicited each fall and the winners are announced and recognized at a ceremony the next year.

"Our customers are thrilled with their pools," said Kevin Dixon, President of Outdoor Concepts, Inc. "All three winning pools were a custom design/build for each family. They included some type of custom stonework, waterfall and or water feature. Outdoor Concepts typically builds 15-20 custom swimming pools a year. We like to keep it that way so we can continue to work closely with our customers. Something they have come to expect."

The Association of Pool & Spa Professionals is an industry trade association with over 4,000 members including swimming pool builders, pool service companies, retailers, distributors and manufacturers. The Association promulgates design and construction standards that are approved by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI).
