EXTON, PA, July 3, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Harold Jack Blackmore, Jr., President & CEO of DV & Associates, LLC, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of construction services.

With 22 years of professional experience, Mr. Blakemore is considered an expert in design-build construction. In 2005, he brought his talents to DV & Associates, a construction management company. His responsibilities include repairing non-federally-owned pumping systems, upgrading structures for better utilities, supervising project directors, and maintaining client relations. Mr. Blakemore is proud to have worked alongside several government agencies, including the Department of Homeland Security and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. His firm was also instrumental in closing back canals from back surging into New Orleans in case of hurricanes. Prior to going into business for himself, he honed his skills in a major design-build construction company for 15 years. He attributes his success to his determination.

Mr. Blakemore is a Registered Engineer in the state of Pennsylvania. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Engineering in 1987 from Widener University and Associate of Applied Science in emergency management planning at Delaware County Community College. He is a member of ASHRAE, IEEE, SAME and FOP. Mr. Blakemore looks forward to and continuing his efforts to prepare the city of New Orleans for the hundred year storm providing a greater levee system with increased pumping capacity to move water out of the city.
