DPR Construction Announces Donation to Aid Victims of Haiti Earthquake
DPR selected the non-profit AmeriCares as the recipient of all funds raised to help disaster relief in Haiti.
SAN DIEGO, CA, March 13, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- DPR Construction, Inc. (DPR) announced today the company will contribute $50,000 to aid victims of the Haiti earthquake. Through Feb. 12, DPR will also match every dollar staff members donate up to a total of $50,000.
DPR selected the non-profit AmeriCares as the recipient of all funds raised to help disaster relief in Haiti. AmeriCares is a humanitarian aid organization that provides immediate response to emergency medical needs and supports long-term humanitarian assistance programs. The organization has guaranteed that 100 percent of the money donated will reach the victims in Haiti.
"We felt compelled to honor the people of Haiti through this donation to help rebuild what have been torn down by the devastating earthquake," said Jay Leopold, regional manager of DPR San Diego.
