Charles D. Loggins Inducted into Cambridge Who's Who
Charles D. Loggins accredits his success to his work ethic and passion for his profession


BIRMINGHAM, AL, July 13, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Charles D. Loggins, Production Stage Manager, Technical Director of Alys Robinson Stephens Performing Arts Center, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in theater production.

As a production stage manager and technical director of Alys Robinson Stephens Performing Arts Center, Mr. Loggins specializes in set design and construction along with stage management. In his position, he oversees all aspects of technical direction for presented programming at the center. Prior to stepping into stage management, he worked as an actor and dancer. In 1995, he obtained his Bachelor's Degree in Theater Arts from The University of Alabama. During college, he achieved several awards. Currently, he is a member of the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees. In the future, he intends to continue providing excellent stage and technical direction for the center as well as for his other clients.

The Alys Stephens Center (ASC) is Alabama's own world-class performing arts center on the UAB campus. The center organizes various theater shows and events, including plays by the Alabama Symphony Orchestra. They put on numerous shows all year and have a very interesting venue, offering four performance halls. The center will present an arts season brimming with the world's greatest artists, including legendary Liza Minnelli, 17-time Grammy winner Pat Metheny, country music royalty Roseanne Cash, comedian Joan Rivers, classical superstar Joshua Bell, NPR host Ira Glass and master of satire David Sedaris. New this season is a summer concert series, three festivals including 11 days of events in September, arts-education events for the entire community, easier subscriber options and an exciting new artistic genre, living art.
