Award-Winning, Full-Service General Contracting Firm, Tandem Construction, Inc., Broke Ground This Morning on a 35,000 Square Foot Project at The Union League Boys And Girls Club on The West Side of Chicago.

CHICAGO, IL, September 08, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Tandem Construction, Inc., a full-service general contracting firm based in Chicago, IL, teamed up with Chicago-based Antunovich Associates for a groundbreaking ceremony at the Union League Boys and Girls Club of Chicago this morning. The ceremony is a symbolic event that marks the beginning of a year-long construction project.

"We will be constructing a 17,000 square foot addition, as well as remodeling 18,000 square feet of the existing building for the Union League. The finished space will benefit the entire community of Pilsen," said Tony Andrews, partner at Tandem Construction.

The new and updated spaces will house three new gymnasiums and one rehabbed gymnasium, weight rooms, locker rooms, classrooms, a library, a technology center, a dance room and a craft room.
