Gregory Caleca conducts civil, architectural and structural field work for an array of construction projects

COLUMBIA, SC, August 19, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Gregory Caleca, Construction Field Engineer for the Shaw Power Group, a part of The Shaw Group, Inc., has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in construction/engineering.

Mr. Caleca, who developed a love of drafting in high school, credits his excellent upbringing for his success in the construction field. Today, he is a construction field engineer for The Shaw Group, Inc., an engineering, construction, technology, fabrication, environmental and industrial services company. Mr. Caleca is tasked with conducting civil, architectural and structural field work for an array of construction projects. He solves design problems, interprets drawings and specifications and makes corrections as needed; he has served in this capacity for the past five years.

In 2005, Mr. Caleca earned a Bachelor of Science from Clemson University. He is honored to have earned the designation of Associate Constructor (AC) from the American Institute of Constructors. Looking toward the future, he hopes to become a resident engineer and a project manager.
