Michael D. Park Named Professional of the Year in Environmental Construction

LAS CRUCES, NM, January 5, 2012 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Michael D. Park, Owner of Park Enterprises, LLC, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in environmental construction.

Mr. Park opened Park Enterprises, LLC in 1976 and has been managing it since. Utilizing his 57 years of practicing environmental construction, he has built up experience using renewable energy, resources, and alternative treatment installations, designing waste management systems, and hosting operator safety certification seminars. Mr. Park's career further entails bidding on projects and negotiating export contracts. He also oversees daily business operations for his consulting and construction company, which specializes in renewable resources, environmental design and installation, utilizing Insulated Concrete Form (ICF) materials, and he is always researching new and innovative materials and concepts.

After serving 13 years in the U.S. Navy, Mr. Park retired from the U.S. Army Reserve as a master sergeant in the chemical corps, with a total of 21 years of service. His father, a general contractor, gave him the opportunity to work in every major area of the construction business, including carpentry, iron work and heavy equipment operation. He mastered these trades prior to managing and owning Park Enterprises, LLC.
In light of his accomplishments, Mr. Park was recently named a Professional of the Year in Environmental Construction by Cambridge Who's Who. He was also selected to be featured in Pro-Files Magazine.

Furthermore, Mr. Park was distinguished as an Elite American Business Owner in 2010 and was chosen for inclusion in Cambridge Publishing's "Top 101 Industry Experts" book in 2009. He attributes his success to the support he receives from his father and wife, and the inspiration he receives from his role models.

In 1979, Mr. Park received a Bachelor of Business Administration from City University of Seattle. A master carpenter and certified welder, he holds certification in computer programming. Between 1987 and 1993, he was a member of Toastmasters International. Currently, he is a member of the Southwest New Mexico Building Industry Association, National Association of Wastewater Transporters, Inc., and NORWA. Park Enterprises, LLC has added asbestos inspection and mold inspection and remediation to their services. Mr. Park intends to experience continued professional growth in the years to come.
